You do not need to create a new account when changing your address in Hoplr; simply update your address through your existing account settings. You must be a member for at least one month before the move button appears. If there is no Hoplr neighbourhood at your new address, you will be informed. If you encounter any issues, you can email proof to verify@hoplr.com for manual adjustment. Address changes can be made via the app or website.
If you move, or change your address for any other reason, you do not need to create a new account. You can easily update your address through the settings of your existing Hoplr account.
⚠️ Important to know:
Membership of one month: You must be a member of Hoplr for at least one month before the move button becomes visible in your settings. If you have been a member for less time, please contact our support.
Availability of the new neighbourhood: It is possible that there is no active Hoplr neighbourhood at your new address yet. In that case, you will be informed during the process.
Is it not working automatically? If you experience a problem while changing your address, please send an email to verify@hoplr.com with valid proof of your new address (such as a photo of your new address in your rental contract, energy bill, or an official letter). Our team will then manually make the change for you and give you access to your (new) neighbourhood as soon as possible.

Via the mobile app:
- Open the menu: Log in to the app and tap 'More' at the bottom right.
- Go to your profile: Tap 'My profile'.
- Start the move: Tap the 'I am moving' button next to or below your street name and follow the on-screen instructions.
Via the website:
- Go to your profile: Visit the website, click your profile picture at the top right and select 'My profile'
- Start the move: Click the 'I am moving' button and follow the instructions to enter your new address.
