Easily create a series of activities by enabling “Make recurring” and selecting multiple dates. Edits apply to future dates, while deletion and RSVPs remain possible per date.
Do you have a book club that meets monthly, a weekly sports practice, or a series of neighborhood walks? From now on, you no longer need to create a separate activity for each date. You can now create a series of related activities all at once.
How to create a recurring activity
Start the activity: Click the plus sign (+) to add a new activity.
Make recurring: Turn on the 'Make recurring' option.
Choose your dates: A calendar will now appear where you can select all the dates on which your activity takes place. Each selected date is automatically created as part of the same series.
Manage your series
Edit a series: Do you want to change the title, description, or category of your activity? If you edit an activity in the series, these changes are automatically applied to all future dates in that series. The images you have added are shared across the entire series, so you only need to upload them once.
Delete: Want to stop? You can choose to delete just one specific date or the entire series at once.
Good to know
See the other dates: When you view an activity in the series, you immediately see an overview of the other scheduled dates. This way, neighbors know exactly when the next sessions will take place.
Attendance (RSVP): Each date in the series is an individual activity. This means neighbors can RSVP for each occasion ('I'm going' or 'Interested'). This way, you can attend one date but not another.
In the neighborhood feed: In the general neighborhood calendar, the activities appear as separate events, making it easy for your neighbors to find them in their schedules.
- For a series of activities, only the first activity appears in the neighborhood feed 5 days in advance. The remaining activities appear on the day itself.
Tip: Be sure to provide a clear description for the entire series, so neighbors immediately know what to expect when they join more often!
