Advertising is not allowed. This means: promotions, commercial advertisements, political or religious messages, etc.
♻️ Bargains and giveaways
You may share unlimited bargains and giveaways in the 'Classifieds' section and preferably group multiple items in one classified. Note that certain items, such as medicines, animals and tobacco products, are not allowed. See here which classifieds are allowed and which are not. 💬 Keep the dialogue meaningful
Hoplr is not a complaint wall. Problems may be discussed, but keep it friendly, civilised and constructive.
🆔 Use your real identity
Hoplr neighbourhoods are based on trust. We ask users to use their real first and last name. A recognisable profile picture is appreciated.
🔒 Respect the privacy
Do not share information or property of neighbours unless you have explicit permission.
🚫❤️ Not a dating app
Hoplr is a neighbourhood platform, not a dating app. If you are looking for a date or relationship, we recommend using another platform.
Failure to follow these house rules may result in a report of your message or profile by one of your neighbours. Repeated reporting of messages may result in the following sanctions:
