Hoplr is designed to connect neighbours and help one another. For this reason, we ask users to approach giveaways in a respectful manner. 🤝
The aim is not to respond to all giveaways in your own neighbourhood and surrounding areas. Everyone should have the opportunity to claim a giveaway that they or someone in their immediate surroundings could use. Mass selling or collecting giveaways for events like flea markets does not align with the spirit of Hoplr.
If we receive reports and find that you are systematically responding to all giveaways, we will address this with you. If necessary, we reserve the right to remove your account ❌ from the neighbourhood.
What classifieds can you post?
In the 'Marketplace' section, neighbours can safely and locally give away, trade, buy, or sell second-hand items. However, some items, such as medication, animals, and tobacco products, are not permitted. Second-hand goods and dietary supplements are allowed. Hoplr users must comply with the applicable laws.
