When something new happens in your neighborhood, a red dot appears at the clock icon as a notification. By clicking the icon, the dot disappears, but the notifications remain visible. You always see the most recent notifications, depending on the activity in your neighborhood.
When something new happens in your neighborhood, you will see a red dot at the clock icon at the top right of your screen. This is your notification center, where you stay updated on replies, new messages, and important neighborhood information.
Removing the red dot
As soon as you tap or click the clock icon, you have viewed the notifications and the red dot will automatically disappear. However, the notifications themselves will remain in the list, so you can read them again at a later time.
Good to know: It is not possible to manually remove notifications from this list. The list refreshes itself automatically based on the most recent activities in your neighborhood.
Which notifications do I see?
To keep things clear, we always show a limited list of the most recent notifications. How far this list goes back in time depends on the activity:
In an active neighborhood: If you and your neighbors post and reply a lot, you will mainly see notifications from the past few days.
In a quiet neighborhood: If there is less activity, the list may contain notifications that came in a week or even longer ago.
This way, you always see what is currently most relevant for you and your neighborhood!
