You can share a post with your own neighborhood as well as with surrounding neighborhoods.
When you share a post (general, request for help, classified ad, activity), you get the option to also share it with surrounding neighborhoods. If you want to do that, don’t forget to keep the 'Visibility' box checked while creating the post.
