You can easily unfollow surrounding neighborhoods you follow on Hoplr via the website or app. Go to Settings, choose 'Follow neighborhoods', deselect the neighborhoods you no longer want to follow, and save the changes. Unchecked neighborhoods will immediately disappear from your feed, and you can always adjust this again.
If you previously selected surrounding neighborhoods to follow but no longer want to see their posts in your overview, you can easily 'unfollow' these neighborhoods. This can be done both via the website and the app.
Below are the steps you need to follow
Via the website:
-
Go to Settings:
Log in to your Hoplr account, click your profile picture (or the menu) at the top right, and go to 'Settings'.
-
Open the overview: Click on the option 'Neighborhood feed settings' in the left menu and scroll down until you reach 'Follow surrounding neighborhoods'.
-
Deselect the neighborhoods: You will now see an overview of the neighborhoods. Uncheck the neighborhoods you no longer want to follow (so the checkmark disappears).
- Save the changes: Click the 'Save' button at the bottom to save your adjustment.
Via the mobile app:
-
Open the menu: Log in to the app and tap 'More' at the bottom right.
-
Go to Settings: Tap 'Settings' in the list and then choose 'Neighborhood feed settings'. Select 'Follow neighborhoods'.
-
Deselect the neighborhoods: Uncheck the neighborhoods you no longer want to follow (so the checkmark disappears).
- Save the changes: Tap the 'Save' button to save your changes.
Tip: Posts from neighborhoods you have unchecked will immediately disappear from your feed. You can adjust these settings at any time if you want to stay informed about a surrounding neighborhood again in the future.
